SAN FIRE says Aiden Peralta pleaded guilty after admitting that he burned a vehicle used in a shooting. The agency never identified the shooting.

Gopher White counted 101 guns and 55 warrants. The unnamed public employee inside the case deserves more than one sentence and an indefinite internal review.
Harmony and Spanish Avenue received suspect names. Their dead did not. Agencies should close the public record with identities and court results when lawful notification and case needs permit it.
